1. Our Commitment

HealoGenic.ai is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to holistic wellness information and tools, regardless of disability or assistive technology use.

We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

2. Standards

HealoGenic.ai targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and are the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility.

We also endeavor to comply with applicable accessibility regulations, including:

  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (United States)
  • European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882)
  • Equality Act 2010 (United Kingdom)
  • Accessible Canada Act

3. Measures We Take

We implement the following measures to ensure accessibility across HealoGenic.ai:

  • Semantic HTML: We use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, lists, and structural elements to ensure content is correctly interpreted by screen readers and assistive technologies.
  • ARIA Labels: Interactive elements include appropriate ARIA attributes to convey their purpose and state to assistive technology users.
  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Users can navigate, activate, and interact with all features without requiring a mouse.
  • Color Contrast: Text and interactive elements maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements.
  • Alternative Text: All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked as presentational.
  • Accessible Components: We use Radix UI primitives which are built with accessibility as a core requirement, providing proper focus management, keyboard interactions, and screen reader announcements out of the box.
  • Responsive Design: The site is fully responsive and functions correctly at zoom levels up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
  • Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators are provided for all interactive elements to support keyboard-only navigation.

4. Known Limitations

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, we acknowledge the following known limitations:

  • AI-generated content: Content produced by our Healo Guide AI assistant may not always meet readability standards. We are working on post-processing steps to improve the accessibility of generated text.
  • Third-party embeds: Some third-party content (such as Zoom webinar embeds and Stripe payment forms) may not fully conform to our accessibility standards. We work with these providers to advocate for improved accessibility.
  • PDF exports: Wellness reports and data exports generated in PDF format may have limited screen reader support. We provide JSON data export as an accessible alternative.
  • Dosha quiz animations: The onboarding dosha quiz includes some motion that may not fully respect the prefers-reduced-motion media query. This is on our roadmap to address.

6. Assessment and Review

This accessibility statement was last reviewed in March 2026. We conduct accessibility reviews on a quarterly basis and after significant feature releases to ensure ongoing compliance. Our review process includes automated testing tools, manual keyboard and screen reader testing, and periodic third-party audits.
