Dosha Suitability
This gentle nervine tea combines two of Ayurveda most revered Medhya Rasayanas (brain tonics): Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri) and Shankhpushpi (Convolvulus pluricaulis). Both herbs have been used for thousands of years to calm the mind, reduce excessive thinking, and soothe nervous system agitation. In Ayurveda, anxiety is primarily a Vata imbalance — the wind element creating instability in the mind. These herbs have a grounding, cooling quality that settles Vata. Research suggests Bacopa can modulate serotonin and dopamine levels, while Shankhpushpi has anxiolytic effects comparable to some benzodiazepines in animal studies.
